Women’s national team hosts Luxembourg in friendly match on Friday

Malta meets Luxembourg on Friday 17th at the Centenary Stadium in the first of a women’s international friendly double header.

This game will mark the debut of new women’s national teams head coach Manuela Tesse.

Speaking on MD-1, Tesse said “We have prepared in the best way possible despite the limited time that we had and introduced a new style, and new philosophy.” 

“‘The players are very dedicated and that it is very important for me,’ continued Tesse. She explained that the players are adapting quite well to this new philosophy and hope they will have a good game.” 

A second friendly match between the two teams will be played on Monday at 11:00.
