Sirens appoint Steve D’Amato as their new coach

Sirens FC have appointed Steve D’Amato as their new coach. He replaces Winston Muscat who led the St. Paul’s Bay side for the past two years and is expected to be unveiled as the new coach of Marsaxokk.

This will be D’Amato’s second spell at Sirens after joining them in summer 2019, leading the club to fourth place in its maiden season in the Premier League and a historic qualification to the UEFA Europa League where they lost narrowly to CSKA Sofia.

D’Amato had earlier coached Melita, Hamrun Spartans, Mosta, Rabat Ajax, Senglea Athletic and Naxxar Lions and after coaching Sirens, led Tarxien Rainbows and Swieqi United. He had also served as technical director with Qormi.
