Claudio Bonanni joins Hibernians

Hibernians signed Italian twenty six year old midfielder Claudio Bonanni.

A product of AC Milan, Bonanni played for Pavia, Varese and Caratese before joining FC Kamza in Albania. He moved back to Italy to join Castellanzese, moving to Malta in January 2020 to join Birkirkara. He spent eighteen months with the Stripes. In summer 2022, he joined Hebar Pazardzhik in Bulgaria but returned to Malta in January to join Marsaxlokk.

The Paolites had earlier signed goalkeeper Jonathan Debono, Samuel Okoh and Armen Hovhannisyan but are yet to appoint a new coach after the club and Silvio Vella mutually agreed to part ways.
