Veronique Mifsud has capped a memorable season for Birkirkara by adding a personal accolade after claiming the March/April Assikura Women’s Youth League Player of the Month award. 

The 20-year-old midfielder was instrumental in Birkirkara’s strong comeback in the U-21 category where they managed to retain the title after beating Raiders-Lija in a decider. The Malta international was part of the Birkirkara youth side that defeated Swieqi United and Raiders-Lija in their final two games of the season.
