Malta international forward Maria Farrugia will be playing for Lewes FC Women this season.

Like Durham, where she played last season, Lewes FC also play in the Barclays Women’s Championship.

A product of Nadur Youngsters, she played for Gozo FC in competitions organised by the Malta FA. She moved to England in 2018 to join Sunderland but switched to Durham Women last season.
