Marsaxlokk secured the services of twenty seven year old Duane Bonnici.

A product of Naxxar Lions, he was transferred to Mosta in January 2019. Since then he played for the Blues, except for a six-month spell on loan with Naxxar in the latter part of season 2021/22.

The Southseasiders, who have appointed Winston Muscat as their new coach, had earlier signed Jacob Walker, Jake Ghio, Armah Ayo Vaikainah, Diego Pires Dall’Oca, Nikolai Muscat and goalkeeper Anson Saliba. Goalkeeper Marko Drobnjak, Ryan Scicluna, Leandro Aguirre, Santiago Ferraris and Dale Mifsud were confirmed from last season.
