Floriana signed Brazilian forward Matheus Nogueira Albuquerque de Souza.

Twenty-nine year old Matheus had started his career at EC Bahia and went on to play for Rio Branco, Caldas Novas, Feirense, Diadema and Galicia in Brazil before moving to Portugal where he played for Praiense, Amora FC and Lusitânia FC Lourosa. He moved to Malta last year to join Balzan.

The Greens, now led by coach Mauro Camoranesi, had earlier signed goalkeeper Sean Mintoff, Dunstan Vella, Maksim Volodko and Alexandros Kouros.
