Valletta secured the services of Malta international goalkeeper Jake Galea.

A product of St. Andrews, Jake Galea moved to Hamrun Spartans in summer 2017 but the following season, he joined Sliema Wanderers where he spent three years. Galea played for Balzan in season 2021/22 but last summer, moved to Luxembourg to join Etzella Ettelbruck.

The Citizens had earlier signed Juan Bolanos, Federico Dario Jose Vega, Fernando Omar Barrientos, Victor Luiz Prestes Filho, Diego Cardoso and Neil Anthony Micallef.
