Newly-promoted Naxxar Lions secured the services of thirty-one year old attacking midfielder Daren Falzon and nineteen year old midfielder Nikolai Micallef.

A product of Naxxar, Falzon had spells on loan with Hamrun Spartans, Pembroke Athleta and Tarxien Rainbows throughout his career.

On the other hand, Nikolai Micallef joins the Lions on a one-year loan from Hamrun Spartans. He spent last season, on loan with Tarxien Rainbows.
