Hibernians sign Brazilian winger

Hibernians secured the services of Brazilian twenty-nine year old winger Alex Bruno de Souza Silva.

Alex Bruno started his career at União Central FC and later played for Queimados FC before moving to Poland to join Widzew Lodz. Following a spell with Santa Rita in Brazil, he moved back to Europe to join Zimbru Chisinau in Moldova. Alex Bruno then moved to South Korea where he played for Gyeongnam and later Suwon but following a spell with Londrina in Brazil, moved to Atyrau in Kazakhstan. Earlier this year, he moved to another club in Kazakhstan, Maktaaral.

The Paolites, who have just appointed Branko Nisevic as their new coach, had earlier signed goalkeeper Jonathan Debono, Samuel Okoh, Johann Bezzina, Claudio Bonanni, Armen Hovhannisyan, Giannis Bastianos, Eriks de Souza Santos Pereira and Robert Bairam.
