A goal two minutes in added time by Kenneth Aquilina handed Marsaskala a narrow win over Gharghur in a match from Group B of the IZIBET Amateur League at the Charles Abela Stadium on Sunday.
At the Sirens Stadium, Qormi defeated Dingli Swallows 3-0 thanks to goals by Ricardo Silva Faria on the 21st, Gary Bugeja on the 49th and Jayden Borg on the 75th.
St. George’s came from behind to beat Kirkop United 2-1 at the Sirens Stadium. An own goal after just two minutes put Kirkop ahead but Adrian Caruana equalised on the 31st and Rudy Cassar notched the winner on the 67th.
