Msida St. Joseph registered their first win as they notched a most dramatic 2-1 win over Attard in a match from the BOV Challenge League at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
Camilo del Castillo Escobar put Attard ahead nine minutes in the second half but five minutes in added time, Lian Xuereb levelled matters and two minutes later, Liam Mckay notched the winner.
A goal by Terence Vella five minutes from the end of the first half handed Senglea Athletic a narrow win over St. Andrews at the Centenary Stadium.
Goals by Hibiki Mochizuki nine minutes in the second half and Manji Williams six minutes in added time gave Pieta’ Hotspurs a 2-1 win over Zebbug Rangers at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
In another match at the Centenary Stadium, Tarxien Rainbows and Zejtun Corinthians shared the spoils in a goalless draw.
Zabbar lead the way with 13 points, followed by Marsa, Zurrieq and Fgura on 12, Pieta’, Melita and Lija 11, Luqa 9, Senglea and Swieqi 8, Tarxien 6, Zejtun 5, St. Andrews and Attard 4, Msida 3 and Zebbug 2.
