University of Malta ACJ Group maintain perfect record

University of Malta ACJ Group continued to impress in the Enemed Futsal Premier League as they notched their seventh consecutive win, defeating Gzira United Santa Margerita Futsal 11-0 in a game they dominated from start to finish.

Steven Camilleri, Stefan Camilleri and Leo Muscat scored a brace apiece while Andrew Cachia, Dale Valletta, Guillherme Fonseca, Kaue Meggiato and Zvezdan Vukovic also added to their tally.

Luxol maintained the second place in the table as they beat Marsaskala Futsal 5-2. Luke Gatt scored twice while Victor Dias, Jefferson Breno and an own goal rounded off the score for Luxol. Marsaskala stayed in the match after goals from Craig Pickard and Amir Ashtiyani.

In the most anticipated match, ŽRQ Bormla continued their challenge for a top finish after beating Ta’ Xbiex Futsal 10-3. The Cospicua side had a very good game with Ta’ Xbiex who had their moments although the second half was very difficult for them when they scored no less than five goals. Prolific scorer Karl Luke Schembri scored four goals, Jovica Milijic helped himself with a double while Rodrigo Da Silva, Chris Cardona and two own goals continued to add to the score for their team. Ta’ Xbiex reduced the score with a brace by Glenn Bonello and another goal by Stefi Cale.

Swieqi United kept pace with the teams at the top of the table after beating Sliema Futsal 13-1. Emerson Molina scored four goals, Brayan Stiven and Dylan Pace were authors of a double each while Brandon Debono, Rodney Debono, Cristian Sanchez Cruz, Andrew Abela and Gregory Busuttil also put their names on the score sheet. Giuseppe Barone scored the only goal for the Blues.

Birżebbuġa St Peter’s Futsal got three very important points for their ranking after a 9-4 win over the Maltese Under-19 team. Hamza Harrat and Julien Bollard scored three goals each while Kieran Debono, Denim Parnis and an own goal added more goals for Birżebbuġa. The Maltese youngsters scored their four goals from a double by Amin Louati with Robert Malool and Mason Agius scoring the other goals.
