Malta international forwards Kemar Reid of Floriana and Luke Montebello of Hamrun Spartans claimed the BOV Player of the Month awards for September and October 2023.

The Jamaican-born striker was a key player for the Greens in their fine start to the 2023/24 BOV Premier League campaign. He scored one of the goals in a 4-0 win over Santa Lucia, had a shot deflected by a defender for an own goal in the 2-0 win over Birkirkara and scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Hibernians in the three matches played during the month of September.

Montebello, on the other hand, scored one of the goals in a 4-0 win over Sirens and handed them the lead in the 1-1 draw with Sliema Wanderers.

Reid and Montebello currently lead the list of scorers in the BOV Premier League with seven goals.
