Santa Lucia secured the services of goalkeeper Cain Formosa and Under-21 international Daniel Letherby.

A product of San Gwann, twenty-three year old Cain Formosa had a spell with Mdina Knights before joining Valletta where he spent season 2021/22. In October, Formosa, who was also a member of the Malta national squad, was released by the Citizens.

Nineteen year old Daniel Letherby moved to Malta at an early age, playing for Fgura United and Valletta at youth level. Last year, he moved to the USA where he played for Corpus Christi FC

Santa Lucia had earlier signed Aleksa Mrdja and Santiago Moracci but released Sheldon Mizzi and loaned Matthias Vella and Jamie Carbone to Melita.
