Man United Women edge past PSV Vrouwen in friendly match at Tony Bezzina Stadium

Manchester United Women defeated PSV Vrouwen 2-1 in a friendly match at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Friday.

Joelle Smits fired PSV ahead on 23 minutes but Jayde Riviere levelled matters ten minutes later, hitting home off the rebound after Leah Galton forced a great save from a cross by Lisa Naalsund. 

Manchester United dominated proceedings in the second half, and just when it looked as the game seemed heading for a draw, Nikita Parris headed home in stoppage time to notch the winner.
