Three new signings for Gudja United

Gudja United secured the services of three new players – French twenty-seven year old central defender Rodrigue Nanitelamio, Italian twenty-four year old midfielder Ernesto Gentile and Nigerian twenty-four year old forward Ibrahim Salis.

Rodrigue Nanitelamio started his career at AS Cannes in France and later played for CF Vilanova in Spain, Spartak Pleven in Bulgaria, Forfar Athletic in Scotland, US Raon l’Etape in France, Al-Suwaiq in Oman, Drava Ptuj in Slovenia and Sai Gon in Vietnam.

Ernesto Gentile started his career at Cosenza and later played for Mantova, Santarcangelo, Palmese and San Marco Servigliano.

Ibrahim Salis moved to Malta when he was still a nineteen-year old to join Swieqi United and after three years at the club, moved to Al-Diraiyah FC in Saudi Arabia. He returned to malta in summer 2022 to re-join Swieqi.

Last month, Gudja appointed Renzo Kerr Cumbo as their new coach and released a number of players including Luke Grech, Karl Micallef, Sean Cipriott, Yaren Sozer, Mateo Cassino, Marvin Santiago Angulo Perea and Abou Toure.
