Santa Lucia through to IZIBET FA Trophy Round of 16

Santa Lucia were the first team to reach the Round of 16 of the IZIBET FA Trophy as they defeated Challebnge League side Marsa 2-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Thursday.

Alessio Piazza put Alessandro Zinnari’s side ahead on the 16th minute and three minutes in the second half, Aleksa Mrdja doubled the score for Santa Lucia.

In the Round of 16, Santa Lucia will be facing the winner of the clash between Msida St. Joseph and Mgarr United.

The Round of 16 will be played on February 6-8, the Quarter Finals on March 30 and April 1, the Semi Finals on May 11 and 12 and the Final on May 18.
