Sliema Wanderers secured the services of Ghanian twenty five year old midfielder James Arthur.

A product of Charity Stars, Arthur moved to Portugal to join Porto and later played for ARS Martinho, Gil Vicente and Fafe. He moved to Malta in summer 2021, joining Valletta but in January 2022, he moved to Gudja United where he spent the last two years.

The Wanderers have earlier reached an agreement with Aidan Friggieri, Karim Aboubakar and Israel Duarte over the termination of their contracts while Dejan Vukovic was loaned to Marsa.
