The draws for the E & L Futsal Trophy were held with holders University of Malta ACJ Group, Luxol, Ta’ Xbiex and Swieqi United being seeded to avoid playing in the first phase.

The winners of last year’s competition will face the winner of the match between Birżebbuġa St Peter’s Futsal and Gżira United Santa Margerita.

Luxol were drawn with the Maltese Under-18 selection while Swieqi will be playing against the winner of the clash between Sliema and the Maltese Under-19 selection with Ta’ Xbiex waiting for the winner of the clash between ŻRQ Bormla and Marsaskala Futsal.

Should Luxol and the University of Malta win their quarter-final clashes, they will face each other in the semi-finals of the competition.

Meanwhile in the draw for the Enemed Women’s Futsal Trophy, Lija Athletic A and B were drawn to face each other. The winner of this match will play against the winner between Santa Margherita AFC and Parr Mela Rockets. Swieqi United will play against Mtarfa with the winner facing University of Malta ACJ Group in the semi-finals.
