Marsaxlokk secured the services of twenty four year old winger Nevin Portelli.

A product of Sliema Wanderers, Portelli spent time on loan at Pembroke Athleta and Birkirkara before joining the Stripes. He was then loaned to Tarxien Rainbows and eventually transferred to Gzira United. In October 2022, he moved to Italy to join ASD Audace 1919 Genazzano but three months laster joined SPQV Velletri. Last summer, he moved to Legnano. 

The Southseasiders had earlier signed Karl Micallef, Nikola Raden and Sami El Anabi.
