Four Premier League players suspended

Four Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

Ricardo Eusebio Mendes Mango Fernandes (Gudja), Thaylor Aldama (Gzira), Alex Bruno de Souza Silva (Hibs) and Pablo Augusto Servo de Carvalho (Naxxar) are therefore ruled out of this weekend’s matches.

Meanwhile in the Challenge League, Alan Abela (Marsa), Gareth Barone (Melita), Vitor Ifenayi Mbata (Msida), Claudio Antunes Pavlidis and Josuael Azzopardi (Pieta’), Kane Bonello (Senglea), Alan David Schembri Wismayer (Swieqi) and Fahad Bardiro (Zejtun)were all handed a one-match ban.

Attard official Ivan Zammit was banned for one match.

On the other hand, in the Amateur League, Andrea Hammett (Kalkara), Luca Bugeja and Gabriel Nazareno Mannino (Mtarfa), Glenn Bonnici (Sta. Venera), Domenico Marsala (Dingli), Kieran Degiorgio (Marsaskala) and Isaac Mizzi (Qormi) were suspended for one match.
