Balzan and Floriana completed a swap deal which sees Jan Busuttil joining Balzan and Jake Grech moving to Floriana.

A product of Pietà Hotspurs, Busuttil, who is now twenty four years old, made his Premier League debut in season 2018/19. He moved to Floriana in summer 2019 where he spent the last four years and a half.

On the other hand, Jake Grech, who is twenty six years old, started his career at Hamrun Spartans but moved to Birkirkara in summer 2017. He joined Hibernians in January 2019 but left the club to join Balzan this summer.
