Six Premier League players suspended

Six Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

Ther players are Simon Zibo (Birkirkara), Marcelo Dias (Gzira), Steve Borg and Jonny Robert do Nascimento Torres (Hamrun), Ryan Scicluna (Marsaxlokk) and Willie Dagou Britto (Mosta).

Naxxar Lions official Omar Borg was suspended for four matches.

In the Challenge League, Jesusemen Courage Omoruanzoje (Lija) was banned for four matches, Sammy Elfarsi (Swieqi) for three while Andrew Xuereb (Fgura), Clayton Giordimaina (Lija), Edmund Gbordzor (Senglea), Matthew Muscat (St. Andrews), Kieran Paul Fenech (Zejtun) and Shawn Darmanin (Zurrieq) were handed a one-match ban.

Lija Athletic coach Joseph Galea was banned for one match and Swieqi official Claude Mattocks was suspended for two.

In the National Amateur League, Carl Ciantar (Birzebbuga), Michael Camilleri and Mirco Vella (Mellieha), Kyle Sciberras Balbi (Pembroke), Carl Magro (Xghajra) and Andre Joe Cutajar (San Gwann) were all banned for one match.
