Hibernians were presented with the trophy as champions of the BNF Women’s Under-16 League after defeating Swieqi United 4-3 in their final match on Sunday.

The Paolites therefore ended their commitments with maximum points from seventeen matches, fourteen points ahead of runners-up Birkirkara. Swieqi United placed third and Lija Sliema fourth.

In the Bottom 5, San Gwann finished ahead of Valletta, SKMM, Santa Lucia and Gudja United.
