Eight Premier League players suspended

Eight Premier League players were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Gilberto Martins Leite Carrara of Sirens was banned for three matches while Maksim Valadzko (Floriana), Fernando Jose Gomes Junior (Marsaxlokk), Gianluca Sciberras (Mosta), Aleksa Mrdja (Santa Lucia), Kemmu Degran Jackson (Sirens), Geoffrey Acheampong and Joseph Marie Minala (Sliema) were suspended for one match.

In the Challenge League, Dylan Agius (Marsa), Tyrone Fenech (Senglea), David Oliveira Souza (Zabbar), Camilo del Castillo Escobar (Attard) and Omar Khatib (Luqa) were handed a one-match ban.

Marsa official Eric Farrugia was suspended for four matches

On the other hand, in the Amateur League, Ross McParland (Qrendi) was handed a three-match ban, Andrei Spiteri (Vittoriosa) was suspended for two matches while Ryan Cauchi (Birzebbuga), Jaden Camilleri (Kalkara), Larens Vella (Qrendi), Lincoln Micallef (Siggiewi), Adrian Gatt (Sta. Venera), Larson Mallia (Xghajra), Jamie Lee Micallef (Mgarr), Gary Bugeja and Nicholai Falzon (Qormi), Jean Azzopardi (Ta’ Xbiex) and Deemer Cutajar (Vittoriosa) were all suspended for one match.
