Lija Athletic A and Mtarfa Futsal will contest the Enemed Women’s Futsal League play-offs final after emerging as winners in their respective semi-finals.

Lija Athletics A turned a defeat into victory after beating 4-2 against Swieqi United.

Vanessa Carneiro and Dana Fuentes established a double advantage for Swieqi but Lija were able to turn the score in their favour with goals from Michela Felice, Irena Drugovic, an own goal from Krista Montfort and Izabella Camilleri.

Mtarfa beat Lija Athletic B 2-1 to secure a place in the final.

Bibi Amaya surged Lija ahead but Mtarfa turned the score in their favour thanks to goals from Janice Pace and Demi Magrin.

The final between Lija Athletic A and Mtarfa Futsal will be the best of three games with the first match being played on Thursday 18 April and the second match taking place a week later. If necessary, a third match will also be played on May 2nd with the matches taking place at the De La Salle Pavilion.
