Four Premier League players suspended

Four players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commisioner following the weekend’s matches from the BOV Premier League. 

The players are Ali Diakite (Birkirkara), Joseph Mbong (Hamrun), Jake Ghio (Marsaxlokk) and Murilo Henrique Freire Bernardo (Sliema) who will be missing the next league match this weekend.

In the Challenge League, Brian Ariel Gambarte (Zabbar) was banned for three matches while Christian Grech (Senglea), Kyle Azzopardi (Zurrieq) and Luca Mallia (Fgura) were handed a one-match ban.

Zabbar official Joseph Spiteri was suspended for four matches while Luqa coach Edmond Lufi was banned for one match.

In the National Amateur League, Theodoric Catania (Sta. Venera) was banned for three matches while Christopher Cutajar and Kyle Tanti (Birzebbuga), Gabriel Sant (Mqabba), Mouied Algazali (Pembroke), Kevin Camilleri (Qrendi), Owen Magri (Gharghur),  Jurgen Suda (Mgarr), Ishmael Colombo and Luke Sciberras(San Gwann), Liam Ciantar and Aaron Sammut (Vittoriosa) were suspended for one match.
