Sirens registered a second successive win as they defeated Gudja United 2-0 in the basement clash at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
A win which puts Sirens on the 15-point mark, leaving Gudja on 6 points, still chasing a win after 24 matches.
Sirens forged ahead two minutes in added time before the end of the first half when off a cross from the left, Luca Gatt was unlucky to deflect the ball past goalkeeper James Pisani.
The St. Paul’s Bay side doubled the score on the 61st minute when Daniel Agius released Kemmu Degran Jackson on the left and the latter served Hafiz Mohammed Akadom who returned the ball to Daniel Agius to beat the Gudja goalkeeper from close range.
