Zabbar St. Patrick have appointed Portuguese coach João Pedro de Oliveira Janeiro as their new coach. Joao Janeiro takes over from Emilio Cornago who led the club to two consecutive promotions from the National Amateur League to the Challenge League and eventually to the Premier League.

Joao Janeiro served as assistant coach at Belenenses, chief analyst at Estoril Praia, assistant coach at Loures, coach of Cova Piedade B and assistant coach of 1º Dezembro before a spell in the USA as coach of Tulsa Roughnecks. He moved to Hungary to join Szeged-Csanád and then moved to Kisvárda FC. Janeiro then moved to Slovakia to join DAC Dunajska Streda and later had short spells with Debrecen in Hungary and FC U Craiova in Romania.
