Sliema Wanderers signed twenty nine year old Malta international defender Cain Attard.

Attard started his football career at the Melita nursery before joining Pieta’ Hotspurs with whom he also made his Premier League debut in season 2014/15. Attard then moved to Birkirkara in 2015 where he spent eight years before joining Os Belenenses in Portugal last summer.

Cain Attard’s signing follows that of another member of the Malta national squad, Adam Magri Overend.
