Sliema Wanderers continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Ghanian twenty six year old defensive midfielder Simon Zibo.

Before moving to Malta in 2022 to join Birkirkara, Zibo was on the books of Liberty Professionals in Ghana and Vitória Guimarães SC in Portugal.

The Wanderers had earlier signed Cain Attard, Adam Magri Overend and Steve Pisani.
