Another two signings for Sliema Wanderers

Sliema Wanderers continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Portuguese twenty seven year old defensive midfielder Sergio Filipe Ramos da Silva and Nigerian thirty four year old forward Stanley Nka Ohawuchi.

Serginho started his career at Barreirense and later played for Quinta do Conde, Palmelense, Fabril Barreiro, Cova Piedade 23, SC Ideal, Lusitano Evora and Sintrense before moving to Bulgaria to join Botev Vratsa. Later he played for UD Melilla in Spain, PO Xylotymbou in Cyprus, Casarano in Italy and FC Van in Armenia.

On the other hand, Ohawuchi is no new face for the Blues, having played for them between January 2013 and May 2014. He played for Bayelsa and FC Heartland in Nigeria and moved to Malta following a spell at Atletico Baleares in Spain. From Sliema, he joined Wadi Degla in Egypt where he had a spell on loan at Zamalek. Ohawuchi then moved to Saudi Arabia to join Al-Qadsiah and following a loan spell with Ajman Club in the UAE returned to Egypt to join Wadi Degla. His last club was Al-Washm in Saudi Arabia.

The Wanderers had earlier signed Cain Attard, Adam Magri Overend, Steve Pisani and Simon Zibo.
