Naxxar Lions signed Nikolai Micallef once again on loan from Hamrun Spartans and secured the services of Myron Micallef, Matthias Fenech, Kayne Haber and Kane Abela

This will be the second year for twenty-year old Nikolai Micallef with the Lions. The Hamrun product had earlier a spell on loan with Tarxien Rainbows.

Myron Micallef, who is nineteen years old joins the club from San Gwann. Nineteen-year old Matthias Fenech also joins the club from San Gwann but spent two years with Perugia in Italy.

Kayne Haber, another nineteen year old, is a product of Birkirkara but played for Attard last season. On the other hand, Kane Abela, who is also nineteen years old, started his career at Mtarfa before joining Hamrun Spartans.

The Lions, who have confirmed George Vella as their coach, had earlier confirmed Japanese duo Yasukaze Ito and Takuma Yamaguchi, Edson Cerquiera Farias and Neil Pace Cocks.
