Marsaxlokk secured the services of Dominican thirty one year old right midfielder Enmy Manuel Peña Beltré. 

Pena played for Villaverde and Puerta Bonita in Spain before moving to Malta in January 2016 to join St. Andrews. The following summer, he moved to Mosta but a few weeks later, re-joined St. Andrews. Pena Beltre joined Valletta in January 2018 where he spent five years before signing for Birkirkara last summer.

The Southseasiders, who have confirmed Winston Muscat as coach, had earlier signed Ulises Arias, Igor Goularte, Jefferson, Patrick Nonato, Lucas Lopez and Guttiner.
