Twenty seven year old defender Joao Teixeira played for Ferroviaria, Rio Branco, Maua, Osvaldo Cruq, Jequie, Monte Azul, Foz do Iguacu, UNIRB, Patriotas, Costa Rica, Atletico Tubarao, Dourados and Oeste.

On the other hand, twenty nine year old midfielder Cristian played for Opeario Mafra, Guarany Bage, Uberaba, Gremio Anapolis, Bage, Iguacu, CA Voruporanguense, Aquidauanense, Cabofriense, JC FC, Pelotas, Morrinhos and Costa Rica, apart from spells at Penafiel in Portugal and Gangneung Citizen in South Korea.

The Blues had earlier signed Sean Mintoff, Richard Luca and Hulk and agreed new deals with Gianluca Sciberras, David Udoh Akpan and Shedrack Thomas.
