The UEFA European Under-19 Futsal Championship preliminary and main round draws were made on Thursday, paving the road to the 2025 finals in Chișinău, Moldova.
36 teams have entered, with 35 competing to join hosts Moldova in the finals at Chișinău Arena, scheduled from 28 September to 5 October. Portugal are the holders having won the title in 2023 with a final victory against Spain, who triumphed at the first two editions in 2019 and 2022.
In the Preliminary Round, Malta will be playing against Lithuania, the qualifiers’ host nation, as well as Georgia and Germany. The mini-tournament shall take place between 21st and 26th January 2025
The preliminary round contenders compete for three places alongside the 25 nations entering in March’s main round, which will produce Moldova’s seven opponents for the finals.
