Malta Women’s Under-17 Coach Clint Tabone has named his squad for the upcoming UEFA Women’s Under-17 European Championship qualifying tournament that is due to take place at the Centenary Stadium, Ta’ Qali later this month.
The Maltese team will face off against Romania, Ukraine and Moldova in three games in quick succession.
Malta, the hosts of the Group B2 mini-tournament, will kick off the competition with an encounter against Romania on Wednesday 13th November at 11:00hrs, while the games against Ukraine and Moldova will take place on Saturday 16th November at 11:00hrs and Tuesday 19th November at 11:00hrs, respectively.
This phase represents Round 1 of the qualification process, as the sides fight to make it to the final tournament, which will be held in the Faroe Islands in May 2025.
Head Coach Tabone will be joined by Assistant Coach Karen Heneghan and Goalkeeper Coach Michelle Zahra.
