Malta drawn with Georgia, Cyprus and Andorra in UEFA Women’s Nations League

Malta was drawn against Georgia, Cyprus and Andorra in Group C2 of the UEFA Women’s Nations League, setting up a number of intriguing encounters. The draw was held on Thursday in Nyon, Switzerland.

This will be the second edition of the UEFA Women’s Nations League. In the first edition, Malta, under the guidance of coach Manuela Tesse, topped their group in League C to win promotion. They are back in League C after a very useful experience in the UEFA Women’s European Championship Qualifiers where they faced Portugal, Northern Ireland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Malta will be looking to showcase their improvement as they chase promotion back up to League B.

Commenting on the draw, Malta Women’s National Team Head Coach Manuela Tesse said: “We’re excited to play against Georgia, Cyprus, and Andorra in Group C2. It’s a balanced group, and it’s a great chance for us to show how much we’ve improved. Every game will be a challenge, but we believe in our team’s ability to compete and get good results. We’ll work hard to make Malta proud.”
