Lija Athletic and Santa Margherita Futsal joined Zero Sei on top of the Enemed Women’s Futsal League table as they registered comfortable wins this week.

Lija achieved the biggest victory of the day when they swept away Iklin’s challenge to win 12-1.

Juciela Vale scored four goals, Leanne Micallef notched a hat-trick, Ruth Steer Cheetham a brace while Eliana Gialanze, Claudette Xuereb and Katryna Grech scored the other goals. Sarah Grech scored the only goal for Iklin.

Santa Margherita defeated Parr Mela 8-2.

Edera Marmara and Kirsty Paris scored a hat trick each while Estefany Calmenasec scored a double.

Swieqi United Women’s Futsal LEC 07 registered their first win of the season after beating Mtarfa 5-0 thanks to four goals by Vanessa Honorio Carnerio and one by Amy Abdilla.
