Birkirkara’s advanced midfielder, Alex Satariano, has been named the LifeStar Most Valuable Player for October.
It’s been a remarkable month for the Malta international, who started his career with Luxol, initially playing on the left in a defensive back line.
His development and progress however have turned him into a versatile, all-around force on the pitch for Birkirkara.
Satariano was instrumental in the Stripes’ progress throughout October in this 360Sports Malta Premier, contributing significantly to wins for the Stripes over Sliema Wanderers (1-0), Hamrun Spartans (3-2), and Gzira United (1-0).
A total of 33 votes were cast by all stakeholders. 15 preferences for Satariano, followed by Hibernians forward Jurgen Degabriele, who also had an outstanding October, receiving 8 votes.
The presentation of MVP for October was held before kickoff on the Thursday night showdown for the Stripes against Floriana, by LifeStar Insurance CEO Roberto Apap Bologna.
