Ħamrun Spartans’ young forward, Shaisen Attard has been called up to the Malta national senior squad.

The 20-year-old joins the squad ahead of the international friendly match against Liechtenstein this coming Thursday and the crucial UEFA Nations League match against Andorra on Tuesday, 19 November, both at the National Stadium.

Attard has been promoted from the Malta U21 squad to replace Dylan Scicluna who sustained an unfortunate injury in his last league appearance for Western Sydney Wanderers FC against Newcastle Jets, forcing him to withdraw from the squad.
