Stefano Grima names Under-18 squad for friendlies against Latvia

Malta Under-18 coach Stefano Grima has finalised his squad selection for the upcoming friendly matches against Latvia.

The November international window will see the Malta U18 team take on their Latvian counterparts in back-to-back friendly matches at the Malta FA Training Grounds, scheduled to take place on 14 and 16 November. Both games will kick off at 13.30hrs.

Grima has selected a squad of 27 players for next week’s commitments, mostly drawn from local clubs but also featuring four foreign-based players.

The games against Latvia will be the first international commitments at U-18 level for most of the players in a largely new squad. The friendlies are useful opportunities for the players to gain international experience and raise their level as part of their development programme, also in preparation for the official UEFA U-19 matches next year.
