Luxol St Andrews and Ta’ Xbiex Futsal lead the way in the Enemed Futsal League after registering important wins.
Champions Luxol beat Swieqi United 7-5 in what probably was the best game of the season so far. Swieqi handed the Maltese champions a hard time although towards the end they could not avoid suffering the first defeat of the season.

Victor Oliveira Dias notched a hat-trick for Luxol with Jefferson Breno finding the net twice. Luke Gatt and Celino Alves scored the other goals. A double from Dylan Musu, Marcelo Alarcon, Rodrigo Rocha and Karl Luke Schembri scored for Swieqi.
Ta’ Xbiex beat the Maltese Under-19 selection 3-0 thanks to goals by Giancarlo Sammut, Sebastian Obando and Valen McKay.
Hamrun SC registered a first win as they defeated Marsaskala 7-4.
The Reds were determined to get the first three points of the league and scored their goals after a hat-trick by Hamza Harrat and a double by Collin Sammut with Braham Garcia Espinosa and Amin Louati scoring the other two goals. Amir Ashtiyani scored twice for Marsaskala while Jovica Milic and an own goal by Matthias Borg made the final score 7-4.
GZR Birżebbuġa St Peter’s also claimed their first three points of the season after beating the Maltese Under-17 selection 9-4.
Armando Gjepali and Cristian Camilo Montanez Dias notched a hat-trick each with Denim Parnis, Ciprian Socaciu and Nikola Milenkoski scoring the other goals. Kaden Baldacchino, Benjamin Spiteri scored for the Under-17s along with a double by Kearan Cutajar.
