Malta Women’s Under-19 Coach David Attard has named the squad for the upcoming UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Qualifiers, to be held in Croatia later this month.
The Malta WU19 team is set to take on Croatia, Luxembourg and Slovenia between Wednesday 27 November and Tuesday 3 December as the four teams make up Group B4 of the competition’s first round.
In Group B4 of the first qualification round, Malta will first face off against Slovenia on Wednesday 27th November at the Stadion NK Lučko, Lučko (CRO), with kick-off time at 12:00hrs. Following that, Malta will take on the group’s hosts, Croatia, on Saturday 30th November at the same stadium, with kick-off time set at 13:00hrs. Malta’s final match of the group will be against Luxembourg on Tuesday 3rd December at 13:00hrs, to be played at Sv. Josip Radnik, Sesvete (CRO).
The squad features four players who are currently playing in Italy, with these being Michela Rose Ionadi (Ternana Calcio), Francesca Bartolo (U.S. Sassuolo Calcio), Lexine Farrugia (AS Roma), and Sara Saliba (AC Milan).
Head Coach Attard will be assisted by Assistant Coach Martina Borg.
