Luxol St Andrew’s and Ta’ Xbiex maintained their winning streak in the Enemed Futsal League as they both registered wins.
Luxol overcame the challenge of the University of Malta, beating them 7-3. It was no easy match for the champions who however sealed victory in the final stages.
Victor Oliveira Dias scored four goals with Jefferson Breno clinching a double. Emil Raducu scored another for Gabriel Dobre’s boys. Player-coach Zvezdan Vukovic scored two picture goals for the University of Malta with Steven Camilleri scoring the other goal.

Ta Xbiex Futsal beat GZR Birżebbuġa 8-4. Giancarlo Sammut scored a hat-trick for Ta’ Xbiex with Christian Wismayer, Juan Poveda, Liam Caruana and George Frendo scoring the other goals. The Southerners had Denim Parnis and Armando Gjepali scoring two goals each.
In a game of perfect balance, Swieqi United Futsal LEC 07 and Marsaskala Futsal Legends ended in a 4-4 draw. Swieqi were always ahead but Marsaskala reacted well to earn a point from this match.
Swieqi scored through Marcelo Alarcon, Rodrigo Rocha, Guillherme Fonseca and an own goal by Dale Valletta while Marsaskala found the net through Jovica Milijic, Owen Duca, Amir Ashtiyani and Dale Valletta.
Hamrun SC Futsal NCMB achieved a third consecutive victory, defeating the Malta Under-17 selection 6-2.
Hamza Harrat scored a hat-trick, Braham Garcia was the author of a double while Amin Louati scored the other goal for Hamrun with the Under-17s scoring through Daniel Camilleri and an own goal by Sheldon Mercieca.
