Birkirkara FC secured the services of Ghanian twenty eight year old winger Seth Paintsil.

Paintsil played for Red Bull Ghana and Brong Ahafo United in his home country before moving to Finland to join FF Jaro. He then moved to Austria where he played for Admira Wacker, SV Ried and TSV Hartberg. Paintsil joined Hamrun Spartans in summer 2023.

After winning the title with the Spartans, leaving his mark in the decisive 5-0 win over Floriana with four goals, he was not retained at the end of the season.
