UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship 2024/25 Round 2 draw

Malta was drawn in Group B2 along with Bulgaria, Luxembourg and Azerbaijan as the UEFA European Women’s Under-17 Championship round 2 draw has set the groups for both leagues, to be completed by 23 March with mini-tournament hosts to be confirmed.

The draw was made by Alice Broman, captain of the Sweden team at the 2024 finals, who received the UEFA Respect Fair Play trophy on behalf of her squad

Round 2: League A draw

Group A1: Spain (holders), Belgium, Iceland, Ukraine
Group A2: Scotland, France, Wales, Slovakia
Group A3: Italy, Czechia, Croatia, Georgia
Group A4: Switzerland, Poland, Türkiye, Hungary
Group A5:England, Finland, Netherlands, Sweden
Group A6: Norway, Portugal, Greece, Serbia
Group A7:Germany, Austria, Denmark, Kosovo

The seven League A group winners will qualify for the final tournament in the Faroe Islands from 4 to 17 May, joining the hosts in the draw on 26 March.

The seven teams placed fourth in their group in League A will be relegated to League B for round 1 of the next edition.

Round 2: League B draw

Group B1:Northern Ireland, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Montenegro
Group B2: Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Azerbaijan, Malta
Group B3:Belarus, Albania, Israel, Andorra
Group B4: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Latvia
Group B5:Republic of Ireland, Faroe Islands (finals hosts), Lithuania
Group B6: Slovenia, North Macedonia, Moldova

The six group winners and the best runner-up from League B (not counting results against fourth-placed teams) will be promoted to League A for round 1 of the next edition.

The teams are split into two leagues as set by round 1. The Faroe Islands will take part in League B although their finals place as hosts is assured.
