Twelve Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner.

Maxuell Maia and Alexander Satariano (Birkirkara), Guy Serge Yameogo (Floriana), Mayron Marques Barbosa da Rocha and Joseph Mbong (Hamrun), Giannis Bastianos and Bjorn Kristensen (Hibernians), Clayton Failla (Mosta), Brooklyn Borg and Enrico Pepe (Gzira), Edson Cerqueira and Nikolai Micallef (Naxxar) are therefore ruled out of the matches of match-day 14 from the 360Sports Malta Premier.

Meanwhile after the preliminary round of the Meridianbet FA Trophy, Andre Spiteri (Tarxien) was banned for four matches, Christian Cardona (Oratory Youths) for three and Tensior Gusman (Tarxien) for one match.
