The fixtures for the European Qualifiers leading to the FIFA World Cup 26 were released on Friday following the draw which was held earlier in the day.

Malta was drawn in Group G with the loser of the UEFA Nations League quarter-final between Spain and Netherlands, Poland, Finland and Lithuania.

Malta hosts Finland in the first match on Friday March 21 at 20:45 and three days later, on Monday 24, kick-off at 20:45, Malta faces Poland away from home

Malta hosts Lithuania on Saturday June 7 at 18:00 and three days later, on Tuesday June 10, Malta faces Spain or the Netherlands away from home at 20:45.

On Thursday September 4, Malta face Lithuania away from home, kick-off at 20:45. One month later, on Thursday October 9, Malta hosts Spain or the Netherlands, kick-off at 20:45.

Malta plays the final two matches in November, facing Finland on Friday 14, kick-off at 18:00 away from home and hosting Poland on Monday 17, kick-off at 20:45.
